Camera and code scanning
To enable optimum scanning, the document must be placed in a well-lit spot. The ideal camera distance from the code is 20cm. Once the verification has started, the website will request access to the phone's camera. Please refer to the "Camera" section below.

Also, on some browsers (e.g. Chrome) you may need to enable the use of the camera in the app settings.
Results of the verification
After scanning, the site displays invalid code. The message indicates that the code has not been correctly detected by the camera, in some cases the code may be counterfeit and you must contact NiviSecure Support.
After scanning, the website will display : attempts exhausted. The message is displayed when more than five attempts have been made. If you are sure that you have not performed the verification for the first time, the document may contain a counterfeit code and you should contact NiviSecure Support.
